Production times
Each item at Brie & Boo is created by hand by me from start to finish, and I take extreme pride on every item I make to ensure that each item is unique but also great quality. Because of this, please allow 2-6 weeks excluding shipping time for me to make your item and get it ready to ship. Usually it’s much quicker than this, but the time frames indicated ensure I have enough time to order fabric should I not have it already in stock. See below for approximate turnaround times:
Each item is especially hand made just for you, so our standard turnaround time is 1 – 2 weeks plus shipping time. Turnaround times may be longer in periods of high demand.
If I do not have the fabric in stock, I will contact you with options as to how you’d like to proceed. Indicative time frames for the fabric to be ordered and received can be up to 4 weeks for it to get to me (sometimes longer), plus a 1-2 week turnaround to make your item, and then shipping will be on top of this again.
Turnaround times quoted above are processing times to make and package your order and do not include shipping time. Once your order has been packaged and shipped you’ll receive an email notification advising your order is on it’s way.
POSTAGE
All items are shipped via our friends at Australia Post. Australia Post handling times are outside of my control and due to living in and posting from Darwin, NT, sometimes your order may take a little longer to arrive than you’re used to. Once your order has been shipped, I can not be held responsible for any uninsured or lost items. Any investigation into lost parcels will need to be lodged with Australia Post by you, the customer. For peace of mind, it is recommended that you choose to insure your purchases by adding the optional insurance at the checkout.
Please note that choosing the Express shipping option does not mean express processing of your order. If you need something by a specific date, please contact me before placing your order to see what we can work out.

FREE Standard Shipping when your order totals $200 or more.
Standard Shipping – $9.95 flat rate (includes tracking)
Express Shipping** – $12.95 flat rate (includes tracking)
Optional Insurance – $2.00 per order
We offer pick up for Darwin locals from the Northern Suburbs. Pick up is by appointment only, and usually works around juggling toddler and husband and general life in my household. To choose this option, please go through checkout and enter a local post code, and the local pick up option will become available. If you’ve chosen local pick up at the checkout, you’ll receive an email advising the pick up details once your item is packaged and ready to go. if Local Pickup is selected and you do not live locally, you will be invoiced for postage costs and your item will be posted to you.
**Please note, Darwin is located outside of the Next Business Day Express Post Network and as such, Express Post items may take 3-4 business days (sometimes more) to be delivered, depending on your location.
International POstage
Currently we only ship to Australia and New Zealand. Please see checkout for postage options.
We offer flat rate shipping to our New Zealand customers, which includes complimentary insurance.
Standard Shipping – $25.95 flat rate (includes tracking and insurance)
Express Shipping – $40.95 flat rate (includes tracking and insurance)
We do not currently offer a free shipping option to New Zealand.
International customers may incur customs fees and duties, and these fees are solely the responsibility of the customer. Brie & Boo will not be responsible for any fees, taxes or duties payable. Please contact the relevant body in your country for further information.
