The Artist

The art is the gorgeous work of Aboriginal artist, Holly Sanders, a proud Bundjalung woman and teacher from the North Coast of NSW. Through her art, she shares her stories, culture and Country in a contemporary way.

Sandhills at Sunset

This piece represents the importance of sand environments on saltwater Country. Sand environments around the ocean and estuaries provided an abundance of wild food where there were always plenty of resources to share. The passing on of knowledge about Country to the younger generation is an important tradition and sand painting was a common art form in coastal areas, where coloured sands were used to create a temporary picture and story that was then washed away by the high tide.

Ladies Dress – Ladies loose fit smock style dress, with empire waistline and slightly gathered skirt. This dress features cap sleeves and deep pockets, with a flattering loose fit. Sizes 8 to 26 available (100% non-stretch Cotton)

Mens Button Up Shirt – Mens button up shirt, sizes XS to XXXL available (100% non-stretch cotton)

 

Accessories

Reusable Fabric Face Masks – 3 layer resuable fabric masks (2 layers 100% cotton, 1 layer Polypropelene), soft elastic ear strings and a pocket to add a filter should you like to (not included).

S – 14cm nose to chin, 20cm wide – suits approx 5-8 years

M – 17.5cm nose to chin, 24.5cm wide – suits most older kids, teens and ladies, some men with smaller faces as well (I wear this size)

L – 19cm nose to chin, 27cm wide – suits men or others with larger faces.

Composition and Care Instructions

100% Cotton

Hand wash or Delicate machine wash in cold water using a phosphate free detergent. Line dry in shade, do not tumble dry. Cool iron on the reverse. Some fading can be expected. Please adhere to the care instructions to ensure your prints stay vibrant for as long as possible.
